Introduction
The increasing urbanization of many parts of the world coupled with other globally critical issues such as environmental pollution, energy consumption, and resources shortage are resulting in major urban crises in many parts of the world. A strong emphasis nowadays is placed upon improving the sustainability of the built environment "from cradle to cradle". This is attributed to the growing public awareness of the importance of "sustainable development" practices, which also enhances quality of life. Public governance and the construction industry are confronted by the push for sustainability. A fresh and holistic approach to designing, constructing and managing the built environment addressing building and the spatial environment is required, which will need to address buildings and he entire spatial environment. New sets of regulatory practices, indicators, measurements, and priorities are emerging with application at all scales - from individual buildings to the district and city-scale level.
Building on the successful international conference Sustainable Architecture and Urban Development held in Tripoli, Libya in 2009 and in order to explore and map the challenges and opportunities of sustainable development within the urban environment, The Center for the Study of Architecture in the Arab Region (CSAAR) and Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Jordan and the University of Dundee, School of Architecture, UK have joined together to organize the second edition for the international conference on Sustainable Architecture and Urban Development (SAUD ’10).
The conference aims to address the various aspects of urban development considering the implications of applying the principles of sustainability.  Of particular interest for the conference is sustainability in the Arab world cities. These cities are undergoing one of the fastest rates of development in the world.  However, this rapid, often erratic, and sometimes traumatic growth has not occurred without unwanted consequences in the built environment. 
The theme of the conference is "Sustainable Architecture and Urban Development". It aims to provide a forum to examine and discuss solution-oriented, practical methods for implementing sustainable development, and to stimulate more ideas and useful insights regarding architecture and urban development within the context of sustainability.  The conference welcomes papers that address issues related to best practice of sustainability in urban design, planning and development in the Arab region and elsewhere. In the interest of tackling these issues from multiple perspectives as well as disciplinary, we invite a wide array of research approaches, ranging from critical-theoretical interrogations to experimental-empirical studies that would encompass not only the spatial and physical aspects of the built environment, but also the social, economic, legislative, cultural and ecological contexts and consequences.  The event will feature international prominent Key Speakers, Academic Sessions, Roundtable Discussions and other interactive discussions, to ensure that all participants will greatly benefit from this conference and its international format.
 
Conference Theme and Research Tracks
We invite participants to submit papers in all areas related to sustainable development, and particularly scholarly work focusing on bridging the gap between theory and practice. The conference welcomes papers from participants from different backgrounds, disciplines and countries. Papers may reflect on a wide spectrum of issues and explore a wide range of solutions.  The conference has five research tracks as below. We invite worldwide scholars, architects, planners, policy-makers, engineers, real estate decision makers, educators, and researchers and their counterparts in the environmental design and construction fields to share heir experiences and to submit a paper in any of the topics listed under the theme tracks.

Submission and Relevant Information
Abstract submission must be in English with a length of max. 600 words. Full paper submission could be in either English or Arabic.  You are asked to identify the research track for your paper.  Abstract and full paper submissions should be sent in MS Word or PDF document format. Abstracts should be e-mailed to scientific committee co-chairs ([e-mail]). Full paper submissions are required to be done online through the conference Website: www.csaar-center.org/conference/saud2010

Conference Proceedings
All papers accepted for publication will be published in a conference proceedings, which will be available to delegates at the time of registration.  In addition, papers will be published in a volume of CSAAR Transactions on the Built Environment (ISSN 1992-7320).
 
Journal Publication
A selection of outstanding papers will be published in one of the following peer reviewed print journals:

a. Journal of Green Building, USA
b. Journal Intelligent Buildings International, UK

However, authors must comply with the guidelines of the respective journal and revise the paper as per comments of the reviewers and editorial board of the respective journal. It is guaranteed that all accepted papers will be published within six months subject to compliance to above requirements.
 
Best Paper Award (3 Awards)
The Best Paper Award is presented to the individual(s) judged by a separate awards committee to have written the best paper appearing in the conference proceedings. The Award shall be 300 USD and a certificate. In case there are more than one author for the paper, the award shall be divided equally among all authors and each shall receive a certificate. Judging shall be on the bases of general quality, originality, subject matter, and timeliness. Up to 3 Best Paper Awards will be presented, one of them if the Best Student Paper Awards. For a paper to be qualify for the Best Student Paper award, a student must be the lead author.

مسابقه عکاسی بافتهای فرسوده شهرتهران دی ماه 88

● مسابقه عکاسی بافتهای فرسوده شهرتهران
:: آرونا
سازمان نوسازی شهر تهران در راستای اهداف و مأموریتهای خود و به منظور شناسایی ارزش ها و نارسائیهای بافتهای فرسوده و تأکید بر اهمیت نوسازی و مستند سازی آن، اقدام به برگزاری مسابقه عکاسی با عنوان "بافت های فرسوده شهر تهران، فرصت ها و تهدیدها" می نماید. از کلیه علاقمندان به عکاسی دعوت به عمل می آید تادر این مسابقه شرکت کنند.
موضوعات:
- بافت فرسوده از نگاه من
- بافتهای فرسوده، ارزش ها و نارسائیها (اجتماعی، اقتصادی، کالبدی و زیست محیطی)
- زشت و زیبا در بافتهای فرسوده
- مشارکت ساکنان محلات در توسعه و نوسازی محله
- تأثیر اقدامات نوسازی در زندگی ساکنان
- شیوه معیشت، آداب و رسوم، آئین ها و مراسم و ... ساکنان
- بافت فرسوده و جریان زندگی
- جذابیت ها و ویژگیهای خاص بافت
- سایر موضوعات
شرایط شرکت در مسابقه
1- شرکت برای عموم آزاد است و شرکت کنندگان می بایست فرم شرکت در مسابقه را همراه آثار ارسال و برچسب مسابقه را در قسمت پشت عکس (پائین سمت راست) بچسبانند.
2- هر شرکت کننده می تواند تا 10 عکس را برای شرکت در مسابقه بفرستد.
3- آثار به صورت تک عکس سیاه و سفید یا رنگی و همچنین بصورت آنالوگ یا دیجیتال پذیرفته می شوند.
4- عکس های ارسالی باید بصورت چاپ شده و حداقل در عرض 30 سانتیمتر باشند.
5- عکسها باید روی CD با ابعاد اصلی و با کیفیت dpi 300 و فرمت jpg یا tiff فرستاده شوند و نام فایلها به ترتیب و با نام عکاس ذخیره شود. (مثال: 2- Ali Akbari 1- Ali Akbari )
6- عکسهایی که بصورت رول و یا لوله و همراه پاسپارتو فرستاده شوند پذیرفته نخواهد شد.
7- برگزار کننده مجاز است که از آثار برگزیده برای انتشارات، اطلاع رسانی و تبلیغات نمایشگاهها استفاده کند و در این ارتباط به صاحبان آثار انتخابی حق اثر پرداخت می شود.
8- روی CD ارسالی فایل مشخصات کامل شرکت کننده که شامل اطلاعات زیر است، ذخیره شود :
(نام و نام خانوادگی، نام پدر، تحصیلات، نشانی دقیق و کدپستی، شماره تماس (ثابت و همراه)، ایمیل)
9- عکسهای برگزیده در یک نمایشگاه در معرض دید عموم قرار خواهد گرفت.
10- CD آثار فرستاده شده و عکس های چاپ شده، بازگردانده نمی شود.
11- برگزار کننده ضمن به کاربردن نهایت کوشش خود در حفظ و نگهداری عکسها، هیچگونه مسئولیتی در برابر آسیبهای ناشی از فرستادن نامطلوب را نمی پذیرد، لذا خواهشمند است در بسته بندی و فرستادن عکس ها نهایت دقت را به عمل آورید.
12- تصمیم گیری در مورد مسائل پیش بینی نشده به عهده برگزار کننده است.
13- فقط عکس هایی داوری خواهد شد که هیچ گونه دخل و تصرف با ابزار گرافیکی بر روی آنها انجام نشده باشد.
14- عکس ها بصورت کتاب منتشر و به کسانی که آثارشان به نمایشگاه راه یافته، یک جلد اهدا خواهد شد.

جبران كسري نمره آزمون ورود به حرفه مهندسان – اسفند1387

 پيرو مكاتبات، مراجعات و پيگيريهاي برخي از داوطلبين آزمون اسفند87 و درخواست سازمان‌هاي نظام مهندسي ساختمان استان مبني بر چگونگي جبران كسري نمره آزمون اسفند87، بدينوسيله به اطلاع مي‌رساند نحوه جبران كسري نمره كماكان براساس بخشنامه شماره 54939/420 مورخ 4/12/86 بوده و ملاك عمل مي‌باشد. بنابراين داوطلبين محترم مي‌توانند با مراجعه به سازمانهاي نظام مهندسي ساختمان استان و براساس بخشنامه يادشده اقدام نمايند.

 

 

 دستورالعمل جبران كسري نمرات شركت‌كنندگان آزمون اسفندماه 87

1-  شركت‌كنندگان رشته‌هاي عمران(نظارت)، مكانيك، برق، ترافيك، نقشه‌برداري و شهرسازي كه نمره آنها در آزمون مذكور حداكثر 3 نمره  كمتر از حدنصاب اعلام شده باشد، بازاء هر يك نمره كسري درصورت شركت در يك دوره آموزشي از دوره‌هاي مصوب شيوه‌نامه تمديد و ارتقاء پروانه اشتغال بكار و قبولي در آزمون پايان دوره و اخذ گواهينامه تا پايان اسفندماه89(تاريخ گواهينامه بايد قبل از تاريخ 1/1/90 باشد)، قبول آزمون اسفند 87 محسوب مي‌شوند.

2  براي مهندسان رشته عمران( محاسبات) كه نمره آنها در آزمون مذكور حداكثر تا سه نمره كمتر از حدنصاب اعلام شده باشد، مطابق بخشنامه شماره 32448/420 مورخ 31/6/88 اقدام گردد.

3-  شركت‌كنندگان آزمون رشته معماري بخش تستي عمومي كه نمره آنها در آزمون مذكور حداكثر 5 نمره از حدنصاب قبولي فاصله دارد به شرح زير مي‌توانند كسر نمره خود را جبران نمايند:

 متقاضياني كه نمره آنها 49 يا 48 مي‌باشد در صورت شركت در يك دورة آموزشي، متقاضياني كه نمره آنها 47 يا 46 مي‌باشد در صورت شركت در دو دوره آموزشي و متقاضياني كه نمره آنها 45 مي‌باشد در صورت شركت در سه دوره آموزشي از دوره‌هاي آموزشي مصوب شيوه‌نامه تمديد و ارتقاء پروانه اشتغال بكار و قبولي در آزمون پايان دوره و اخذ گواهينامه تا پايان اسفندماه89(تاريخ گواهينامه بايد قبل از تاريخ 1/1/90 باشد)، قبول آزمون تستي عمومي اسفندماه 87 محسوب مي‌شوند.

4-  شركت‌كنندگان آزمون رشته معماري بخش تستي عمومي كه نمره آنها در بازة 40 تا 44 و مجموع نمرات تستي عمومي و تستي تخصصي ايشان حداقل 100 باشد در صورت شركت در سه دورة آموزشي از دوره‌هاي آموزشي مصوب شيوه‌نامه تمديد و ارتقاء پروانه اشتغال بكار و قبولي در آزمون پايان دوره و اخذ گواهينامه تا پايان اسفندماه89 (تاريخ گواهينامه بايد قبل از تاريخ 1/1/90 باشد)، قبول آزمون تستي عمومي اسفند 87 محسوب مي‌شوند.

5-  شركت‌كنندگان آزمون رشته معماري بخش تستي تخصصي كه نمره آنها 49 يا 48 مي‌باشد در صورت شركت در يك دورة آموزشي و متقاضياني كه نمره آنها 47 مي‌باشد در صورت شركت در دو دوره آموزشي از دوره‌هاي آموزشي مصوب شيوه‌نامه تمديد و ارتقاء پروانه اشتغال بكار و قبولي در آزمون پايان دوره و اخذ گواهينامه تا پايان اسفندماه 89 (تاريخ گواهينامه بايد قبل از تاريخ 1/1/90 باشد)، قبول آزمون تستي تخصصي اسفند87 محسوب مي‌شوند.

6-  شركت‌كنندگان آزمون رشته معماري بخش ترسيمي كه نمره آنها 18 مي‌باشد در صورت شركت در دوره آموزشي جزئيات و عناصر معماري و متقاضياني كه نمره آنها در بازة 15 تا 18 مي‌باشد در صورت شركت در دو دوره آموزشي از دوره‌هاي آموزشي مصوب شيوه‌نامه تمديد و ارتقاء پروانه اشتغال بكار كه يكي از دوره‌ها الزاماً دوره آموزشي جزئيات و عناصر معماري مي‌باشد و قبولي در آزمون پايان دوره و اخذ گواهينامه تا پايان اسفندماه89 (تاريخ گواهينامه بايد قبل از تاريخ 1/1/90 باشد)، قبول آزمون ترسيمي اسفند87 محسوب مي‌شوند.

7-  شركت‌كنندگان آزمون اسفندماه87 رشته معماري كه با توجه به اين دستورالعمل كسري نمرة بخش يا بخشهايي از آزمون خود را جبران مي‌نمايند، قبول آن بخش(بخشها) محسوب مي‌شوند و لازم است جهت اخذ پروانه اشتغال بكار صلاحيت طراحي يا نظارت (يا هر دو صلاحيت)، قبولي در ساير بخشها را مطابق با بند 2 دستورالعمل اعلام نتايج آزمون اسفندماه87 به شماره 10291/420 مورخ 23/3/88 كسب نموده باشند. ضمناً لازم است بررسي در خصوص احراز شرط تكميل سنوات لازم مطابق با دستورالعمل شماره 10291/420 مورخ 23/3/88، توسط آن سازمان انجام پذيرد.

8-  ليست اسامي شركت‌كنندگان آزمون اسفندماه 87 كه از تسهيلات اين دستورالعمل برخوردار شده و پروانه اشتغال بكار دريافت مي‌نمايند لازم است با ذكر مشخصات نام و نام‌خانوادگي، شماره شناسنامه، شماره عضويت نظام مهندسي و رشته اين افراد،  هر سه ماه يك‌بار توسط آن سازمان به اين دفتر ارسال گردد.

9- در صورتي كه شركت‌كننده آزمون اسفند87 رشته معماري، متقاضي جبران كسر نمره در بيش از يك بخش از آزمون اسفندماه 87 باشد، لازم است دوره‌هاي آموزشي گذرانده شده جهت جبران هر بخش متمايز از دوره‌هاي آموزشي گذرانده شده جهت جبران كسر نمره بخش ديگر باشد.

10-  در صورتي كه شركت‌كننده آزمون اسفند87 رشته معماري، كسر نمره خود در بخش يا بخشهايي از آزمون آذر84 يا شهريور86 مطابق با دستورالعمل‌هاي شمارة 56436/420 مورخ 16/12/85 و شمارة 54939/420 مورخ 4/12/86 جبران نموده باشد و متقاضي جبران كسر نمره بخش يا بخشهايي از آزمون 87 مطابق با اين دستورالعمل نيز باشد لازم است دوره‌هاي آموزشي گذرانده شده جهت جبران كسري نمره آزمون شهريور86 متمايز از دوره‌هاي آموزشي گذرانده شده جهت جبران كسري نمره آزمون اسفند87 باشد.

11-  اين دستورالعمل، صرفاً شامل شركت‌كنندگان آزمون اسفندماه87 بوده و شركت‌كنندگان ساير آزمونها مشمول آن نمي‌باشند.

12-  صرفاً متقاضياني كه مطابق با راهنماي ثبت‌نام آزمون اسفند 87 سنوات آنها تا پايان شهريور ماه88 تكميل گرديده است مي‌توانند از تسهيلات اين دستورالعمل استفاده نمايند.

اولین کنفرانس بین المللی سکونتگاههای روستای 29-28 اردیبهشت1389 تهران-ایران

دفتر مطالعات و تحقیقات یکی از دفاتر زیرمجموعه معاونت بازسازی و مسکن روستایی بنیاد مسکن انقلاب اسلامی است که در زمستان سال 1386 آغاز به کار نمود. این دفتر در راستای سیاست های بنیاد مسکن  نقش راهبری، برنامه ریزی، اجرایی و نظارتی در امور " مطالعات و تحقیقات" و "آموزش و ترویج" بازسازی و مسکن روستایی را بر عهده دارد.

*     دستیابی به برترین تکنیک ها  و روش های بازسازی و ساخت مسکن روستایی در جهت ایجاد ایمنی و آسایش برای روستاییان به پشتوانه مطالعات و تحقیقات

 

*     تشکیل و بهنگام سازی متمرکزترین سامانه اطلاعاتی مطالعات و تحقیقات بازسازی و مسکن روستایی

 

*     تشکیل سامانه جامع اطلاعات و آمار در حوزه بازسازی و مسکن روستایی، با بهره گیری از قابلیتهای فن آوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات (ICT) و سیستمهای اطلاعات جغرافیایی ((GIS

چنانکه اشاره شد یکی از وظایف و مأموریت های دفتر مطالعات و تحقیقات، برپایی همایش های تخصصی در زمینه مسکن روستایی است. برگزاری کنفرانس بین المللی سکونتگاه های روستایی با محوریت مسکن و بافت از جمله اقدامات دفتر در این زمینه می باشد.

كارگاه «تحليل گفتمان هنري» و «كارگاه هنر معاصر ايران» ، در مركز هنر پژوهي نقش جهان

به گزارش روابط عمومي ، يك دوره كارگاه «تحليل گفتمان هنري»، با حضور محققان و استاداني چون فرزان سجودي، حميدرضا شعيري، علي عباسي، بابك معين و بهمن نامور مطلق برگزار مي‌شود. «تحليل گفتمان انتقادي و كاربرد آن در هنر و ادبيات»، « مباني گفتمان روايي»، «تحليل گفتمان هنري : رويكرد نشانه – معنا شناختي » و «گفته‌پردازي گفتماني و گفته‌اي، در نظام نشانه‌اي تصويري» از جمله موضوعاتي است كه قرار است در اين كارگاه‌ها به آن پرداخته شود. اين كارگاه‌ها از 11 مهرماه 1388 روزهاي شنبه ساعت 17 تشكيل خواهد شد.

گروه هنر معاصر مركز هنر پژوهي نقش جهان«كارگاه هنر معاصر ايران» را از مهرماه امسال برگزار مي‌كند.

به گزارش روابط عمومي ، كارگاه‌هاي هنر معاصر ايران شامل نقاشي، عكاسي، مجسمه سازي، پرفورمنس و رسانه‌هاي جديد خواهد بود. اين كارگاه‌ها با حضور حميد سوري ، بهنام كامراني، حميد كشمير شكن و محمد باقر ضيايي برگزار مي‌شود. شروع اين كارگاه‌ها از 20 مهر ماه خواهد بود و روزهاي دوشنبه ساعت 30: 17 تشكيل خواهد شد.
گفتني است، در پايان دوره با تاييد استاد و احراز رتبه علمي گواهي صادر خواهد شد.

The 1^st National Conference of Art Research

(The Pathology of Research in the Realm of Art and Architecture)

The status of research in the realm of Art and Architecture, along with other academic fields, is a fundamental issue. Going towards research and investing on it comprises a great deal of macro plannings of governments. However, the pathology of research in the realm of Art and Architecture, especially in Iran, is an issue which has not been appreciated well by our researchers and scientific circles. Understanding this issue can identify and introduce the flaws of research in Art and Architecture. It can also suggest necessary solutions in order to further operationalize the results of studies in the development, education, and economy of Art.

To this end, Tabriz Islamic Art University intends to hold the 1^st national conference of Art research in December 12, 2009. The main goal of this conference is the identification of research flaws in the field of Art and Architecture.

In this conference which addresses researchers, university academic staff, artists and students it is tried to tackle this issue that to what extent the conventional studies in the realm of Art and Architecture have met the artistic and scientific needs of our country. All the researchers and thinkers are invited to send their articles to the secretariat of the conference. It is expected that the articles focus on the pathology of research and present appropriate solutions to enhance the quality of artistic studies in Iran. The 10^th International Conference on Walking and Liveable Communities

 

New York City Department of Transportation is proud to host the 10^th annual Walk21 conference, Walk21 New York City, 2009.

 

The conference will take place at New York University in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, from Wednesday, October 7th to Friday, October 9th,2009

 

It is going to be a very exciting conference in a city that is working hard to create more walkable communities across its streets and public spaces.  We look forward to bringing together a rich and diverse group of professionals, politicians, academics and public advocates through this conference to celebrate achievements for walking around the world, to share what works in New York City and places like it, and to bring walking into the mainstream of politics, planning, investment and delivery.

 

In the current context of the challenges facing our economies, the environment, our social health and welfare, walking remains at the heart of solutions and opportunities for redress.  The themes for Walk21 2009 reflect these critical times and the conference seeks to provide guidance and inspiration to support the development of walkable environments and to establish walking as a dynamic part of modern living.  

 

The themes are:

 

Theme 1: Walkable communities are sustainable communities

 

Theme 2: Paved with gold: investing in the public realm for a successful city

 

Theme 3: There is more to walking than walking; design strategies for urban quality

 

Theme 4: Fit cities: community design for active living

 

We will be hosting pre- and post-conference workshops, training seminars, walking tours and other activities in addition to the core days.  The conference will include plenaries, breakouts, posters, walkshops and opportunities for side meetings and spontaneous gatherings and debate.

 

Proposals for papers, presenters, workshops, poster displays, walkshops, and pre- and post-conference workshops are now being sought for Walk21 New York City that can provide insight, guidance and support within each of the conference themes, from local to international levels.

 

Submissions must be forwarded to the following mail address: [e-mail] by February 27, 2009.  More detail is given in the submission guidelines attached.

Ecobuild 2009

Ecobuild is the world's biggest event dedicated to sustainable design, construction and the built environment.

Now in its fifth year, Ecobuild 2009 will attract in excess of 800 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors, and host more than 100 seminar and conference sessions along with dozens of topical and inspiring visitor attractions.

Ecobuild started life in September 2004 as a small "green building" conference alongside another event at The Truman Brewery in London's Brick Lane.

Almost immediately it developed a following amongst pioneering architects and designers and attracted a small community of suppliers of innovative sustainable construction products.

Such was the enthusiasm that the first Ecobuild proper took place less than a year later, in June 2005, at the QEII Conference Centre.

Having outgrown that venue, Ecobuild moved - along with its sister event, Futurebuild - to London's Earls Court in 2006 where it has more than doubled in size and attendance every year since.

Over 500 exhibitors and nearly 26,000 visitors took part in 2008, making Ecobuild the biggest event dedicated to sustainable design, construction and the built environment in the world.
